My sisters and I are going to take our mom out to a nice dinner then we are all going to pitch in on a gift.

I use neroli a lot. I usually mix a few drops in with my lotion.

When I bathe my dog I put a few drops of EO in the tub.

I think you get what you pay for with oils. The cheaper ones likely aren't pure essential oils - likely diluted. I think there is some difference with the way they are produced as well.

Even though it's winter, you could put together sort of a beachy-themed basket. Include coconut or other tropical scents. Maybe throw in some flip flops, sunglasses, tropical post cards, seashells, etc.

I love the sugar scrubs they sell at bath and body works. They are so expensive there, but I know they could be made for fairly cheap. Anyone come across a similar recipe?

My husband is often complaining about how "girly" the house smells with all the candles I burn. What are some more man-friendly scent I could try? Maybe I can find something we both can agree on.

There are certain types of paint that you can use to paint on wax. I think you can get that at craft supply stores or candle supply stores.

Do you have any names in mind?
