    preservative for lotion, allergic to propylene glycol

    I am just getting into making simple lotions for myself. I saw everyone talking about germaban or whatever it is called, but from my research it has propylene gylcol in and I am very allergic to that. What is my next best option? Most gentle to the skin is what I want. Thanks!

    Dog Shampoo

    ph Dog's skin has a higher ph than ours. You want it to be mildly acidic, at least that is what commercial dog shampoos shoot for. I'm a vet tech and I actually use a shampoo that has acetic acid (vinegar) in it, callec MalAcetic Ultra. Not sure if you can make a bar soap acidic?

    I need a REALLY easy, basic lotion recipe
