    Recipe advice please?

    My Walmart, Target and the grocery store doesn't carry lard, bummer. After reading so many posts raving about it, I feel like I'm missing something if I dont give it a try.

    New Year Castile

    I like the idea of a New Years soap too, but only being I have 1 batch under my belt, I'd better hold off and try it another time. I'd love to get to the day where I have so many soaps to try I'm not chomping at the bit to use one that is curing.

    First batch done, but....

    I actually had to stop at the Dollar store on my way home and found a nice 8 cup bowl that is deeper then the one I tried last night. Hoping this helps with the splatters...and I will be sure to keep an eye on the stick dome!

    Just finished making my first batch of soap!

    Congrats on your first batch! Woohoo! I just did my very first too last night, so excited to cut this bad boy. :) I used Olive, Coconut, Palm and Castor oils for my first batch. I planned to tweak these slightly to try my 2nd and 3rd batches too as I'm like you and want to find a good recipe...
