My entry. Dragon scales and smoke... I actually made two loaves and started my scales at an angle but it wasn't wanting to cooperate. lol

I was a moron and completely forgot to put on rubber gloves to clean my soaping dishes (I clean them day of, then dishwasher in my soap shop) I now have very minor irritation beneath my fingernails. Not horrible but enough to remind me not to do it again!!

I made more soap and cut my batches from yesterday And today's makes Some cracking and gelling but it gives a really cool effect on my tic tac toe soap

I made these four batches, as well as 5 batches of bath bombs and 2 solid bubble bath recipes

I spent the time to render down beef suet into tallow and made sure that it was clean and nice and white and it turns out that I dislike tallow soap.I will say it was still cheaper than buying tallow for 23.99 a pint

I have done an 80% lard soap and like everyone else, I smell it throughout processing, but I can't after the cure. If you're concerned I'd use sharper smells. On the other hand why not scent test with your base recipe? That way you can smell it the way it would come through on your base...

Giving the EO another chance. I will say that aside from the brittleness issue, it is a fantastic soap. Cleansing but not too harsh. And would have been pretty had it not cracked.
