Yes exactly. I have their insurance and am a member now. But wasn’t sure about the classes. I have the insurance through the hcsg currently…..will I need additional insurance for my shop??? I’m only selling in U.S.

And did they help to pass the tests??? I’m wanting to take the tests but when I do the practice tests it throws questions in...

Ok here’s the soap!!!! It’s a mauve purple color. I really like it.

Actually the crack is closing back up on its own. It’s 100% coconut oil with 20% superfat so they usually crack pretty good but close back up on their own....most of the time.

Ok soooo the clays didn’t work in my lye water and now I have brown soap!!! Ugh so not purple right now. Hopefully it will turn purple when it cures. and the soap is overheating just a little bit.

Ohhhh thank you for the indigo tip. I about used that in my lye water with rose kaolin clay. Glad I didn’t do that one. I’ll stick with my blue clay an rose clay and post pics of outcome when I cut it....I’ll make some tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!

I have been wondering since I do not have purple Brazilian clay could I possibly mix Cambrian blue clay with rose kaolin clay and get purple if I put it in white soap batter???

I made a lanolin shampoo bar. Currently in molds are Castile soap and coconut laundry soap. Will be making one more loaf of soap today.

I used 25% neem and karanja. Hoping after a long cure it'll smell better. I didn't add any scents to it because I made it special for my beagles that smell really bad. The soap right now smells better than they do...lol.

I believe I just made the nastiest smelling soap on the face of the earth...karanja oil/neem oil/ coconut oil. It smells putridly nasty. I made it for my dogs so hopefully they won't have fleas this year. I'm thinking maybe I will have to put this soap in the garage it smells so bad.

Yes I plan on putting my round soaps in coffee filters with full ingredients listed on them as well.

Yes mainly for color. Still can't get a green or blue to stick....I mainly just like natural colorants for my soaps.
