    Which charcoal in CP soap

Check with your soap supplier. Not sure which country you're in, but most of them carry it. You can also ask your pharmacy to bring it in as it is also used to absorb poison and such in the stomach. It must be the powder, not what they use in aquariums.

There is something for Mac that allows you to use Windows based programs like SM3. I don't remember the name but ask in the FB group I think some are running it on their Macs. I don't include shipping, taxes or wages in my calculations because that is overhead which is absorbed through the...

Nah not going to get pummeled. I think your numbers are a bit high on cost. French Rose Clay for 25 gr cost .65 cents. Kaolin is no higher. Your EOs look to be about right, but your lye looks really high. On the other hand I don't know where you get your lard, but I think at the grocery...

    Which charcoal in CP soap

The thing with Activated Charcoal is that it is skin safe, so I think it would be hard to determine if there are carcinogenics in your charcoal because of the method of creating it...

New Directions is going to be the cheapest on EO's but you have the $100 minimum. Voyageur ships via Canada Post most of the time and they have the best customer service, bar none. Your cost should be around the $1.00 range, not sure how come yours is so high??? What are you including?

Is there a natural vanilla fragrance for HP?

Check the IFRA Banned & Restricted Oils list for percentages for the spice eo's. There is a vanilla absolute which is amazing and incredibly expensive. Just a quick note about the "safe" rate for most essentials being a combined rate of 3%. By combined rate I mean all the EO's add up to 3%...

    Harming oneself with lye water

I've been mixing lye inside for about 9 years. Sometimes I use a mask, sometimes not so much. I turn my head away as I mix the lye (it's in the sink) and then after checking to make sure it is well mixed and that all the silk is gone, I walk away and let the fumes dissipate. If you're having...

Don't add anymore water, it sounds like there may be a bit too much. Whip it again using your SB. Once you've done that take a bit out and add warm water to it to see what your lather is like.

I think everyone has their own definition of expensive. I personally don't feel SA is expensive and always have some in stock, I buy mine here - https://www.voyageursoapandcandle.com/Stearic_Acid_Triple_Pressed_Vegetable_p/62200.htm and last time I bought the 55 lb bag.
