This is my first ever batch of OP soap!!! Not very bubbly and with some air bubble, but overall I'm very satisfied with it!

Here's my first ever OP soap... actually, I love the fact that I can try it right away, and that I could colour it with food colouring (which I find easily and is unexpensive here) without getting some weird or ugly change after the cure. It also smells great of lemon!!! Here it is...

American Valkyrie, did you really get rid of your adult acne with your soap? With one specific soap or with your handmade soap in general? My boyfriend has the same problem, and I was wondering if there's anything I can do for him soapwise... if you have a specific recipe could you let me know...

I just finished my very first batch of OP soap... fingers crossed, I wasn't quite sure of when the soap is ready to be poured on the molds, I suppose in a few hours I'll see if I got it right....

So do you suggest cosmetic or natural colouring?

Hi everyone, Today I peeped at my curing first batches of handmade CP soap, and I'm so proud of it (even though I haven't tried it yet, so it could turn out to be a complete disaster) I couldn't resist from taking a picture to share with you!! From top left, you can see "spicy shower"...

Good to know, because my shampoo bars are also very soft...

Here's my experiment with goat's milk. I tried to colour the soap purple with food colouring. I mixed the colour powder with the part of the milk I added at trace, and the mixture actually became a nice purple colour... but look what happened after 12 hours and a strong gel phase:

Thanks again, I meant that I like the Lush bars, but I'd prefer a totally "natural" soap like CP bars are, I've tried a rosemary and nettle bar and a beer bar to start with, I'll try them as shampoos as soon as they are cured and let you know the results. Both bars were very soft and greasy...

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I too have short hair, so maybe that's why I find using solid shampoo alright. The bars I bought are from Lush, and the ingredients are: Ultimate shine: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Profumo (Parfum), Elemi e.o. (Canarium luzonicum)...
