Nope, it's hp. Along with my technique above, I also hold a little water back with some coconut milk powder and add it at the end. I also keep a bottle of distilled water handy and spray my soap as I mix here and there. My supernatural is added at the end along with sodium lactate and sorbitol...

Hello! I'm a new hot process soap maker. My bars have been coming apart in pieces at the end of use when there is a small amount left. Often it is between layers/swirls of different colors. Can't figure out why. Any ideas/ suggestions are welcome!!

Have you tried swirling with a chopstick? I think it works pretty good. I add some soap then swirl, add more and swirl again, etc. I only tried it a couple times, but I haven't had any air pockets.

I meant to say over cooking, not overlooking (auto correct 🤪). But yes, knowing when the soap seems to done is still a mystery to me. And I do so appreciate everyone's input. It is truly helpful, even with multiple viewpoints.

Beautiful! I just started making HP soap and I think it will be what I perfer. It's kinda hard to find other HP soapers. How high is your temp when you soap in order to be able to swirl like that?
