Looking For a soap cutter, prefer multi cut. Also looking for a slab cutter. Maybe all in one? Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. I am using SoapCalc and the 33% is the "Water as a percentage of oil weight" Water is 12.54 Lye is 5.45 Based on Total oil weight of 38oz

Yes, water to lye on my cals Yes it did go thru gel, i looked at it when I turned the heating pad of and it was hot, I could see the top changing to a darket orange

Im sure all my dumb questions have been answered before and you all are gettign very annoyed But hey, I'm to lazy to look...... But what would cause a soap to be very soft after 24 hrs in the mold? I mean soft enough to roll it into a ball. Put on heating pad for about 20-30 minutes and...

The 2 FO are Nature Garden honeysuckle and Camden-Grey Gardenia. I just made another batch of same recipe and used Camden-Grey Orange FO and had plenty plenty of time, actally for the soap I was making 8 was trying to get it thick and took forever, so the previous being the recipie is out.

Only problem is I combined 2 differnt ones, guess I have ro research each one. I will post names up here later

Actually no. It is the first time, come to think of it I also changed recipe a little from 10% rice bran to 5% rice bran and 5% castor. But it was only 2.75 oz each. Not much at all.

So many dumb questions :-). So If you add your lye water to your oils at say 110-120 degrees and they both are within a couple of degrees of each other, you stick blend as usual, add you colorants and FO/EO, will it trace and get very thick much faster than doing the same thing at say mixing at...

So using unrefined in soap, does it not affect the colors or FO/EO you use?

Like what kind of surprises? So why not use refined for CP soap?
