I am trying a couple new recipes out I ran thru soap calc and one of the oils I want to try is soy wax, or hydrogenated Soybean. Who would have it? Can you get it at like walmart or have to mail order it?

What about we have a get together one evening at some restaurant in town before everyone gets to busy before spring. Name a few places and dates and we will set it up. Oh well

Well I guess I should have planned it. When I went to cut it some of the lattice work fell off and some of the apple pieces when I cut thru them..... Oh well.

Actually no, it was last minute. I already made a couple slab soaps and had some time to kill and figured I would try it. I looked up and saw the hot apple pie FO and said guess I'll make apple pie.

First time to do a cake soap, not a real disaster but I didn't figure the right amount of oils for the 9" pan so I was about half short. So I had to use the piping oil for the rest. Then I had to make a new piping and just felt rushed the while time First time to do a double colored...

I just moved my little setup out to my shop ( my wife said my life depended on it ). It's a 400-500 sqft metal building, no insulation, has AC, power, lights. It has been a couple month's that I moved out there. I noticed that my soaps that are curring are wet, when you touch them they fell...

1 cup BS 1 cup SLSA 1/2 cup CS 1/4 cup COT I guess the consistancy is what i sould concider to feel and look like fondant. Maybe to much VG, which I did not measure just added little at a time. My consistancy wrong?

Thanks, thats a good name. They are bread trays. They are very hard to get here, you can get them new for like 50-60 bucks each. I actually get them off of our dock at work, they have them all the time and put them out for people to have or throw away. I can get a ton of them.

Trying my hand at making some. Taking like 3 weeks or longer to dry, I think I may be putting to much glycerin. 2 parts Baking Soda 2 parts SLSA 1 part Corn Starch Then I add the glycine a little at a time..... I get's to a real smooth consistancy. Think I am adding to much VG. Just...

Yes it is BB. Have used it in earlier batch and you are correct, it has good retension. Thanks!!!
