    I saw that online somewhere- a woman was selling a booklet about making soap in the blender using small, one pound batches. It would basically be them same as using a stick blender but I have had too many instances where I have twisted the pitcher the wrong way too hard and my smoothie drops...

    Thanks Irena. I figured I should superfat 0% but I wasn't sure of the best combination of oils to use to get a harder bar. Just palm oil, palm with some castor or coconut? I don't really need it to get lathery as I have a front loading he washer so I suppose I could leave out the last two. I...

    I am trying to find the best recipe for cp soap that would yield a nice hard bar, without using lard, that I could then shred for laundry powder. I am currently using ivory soap because it has the least amount of unnecessary ingredients but I would rather make my own. Any good ones?

    Just thought I'd say hello from Wisconsin. I used to help my Grandma cut her soap but I never made my own until last week. I have already made three batches and am poised to make more this weekend! I've fully jumped in with both feet and I am hooked. Glad to be here!
