Did you use fragrance oil? Lard is supposed to contribute to a white bar, not dark. It would guess it would be any fragrance/EO that you used if you did.

I use RBO higher than 10% with ROE added to the container and have not ran into DOS yet (knock on wood).

Sugar is said to help with the bubbles in the lather. Good for a recipe that is low on the bubble number but if you add too much it will cause the soap to overheat in the mold.

Hello! Not a bad one but I would back the CO down to 25-20% as it has a cleansing number of 20 at that amount so it might be drying on the skin.
