    Is this cocoa butter refined or unrefined?

    Someone gave me this cocoa butter. It is off white, sort of ivory. Smells chocolatey. Hard but crumbly. My friend didn't remember if it's refined or unrefined. Can someone tell me?

    Can somebody suggest a recipe that will produce a whitest bar of soap using the ingredients I currently have available? I have some titanium dioxide and I have most of the commonly used ingredients. I'm just not sure which ones to use. I know that the lighter oils will produce the whitest bar...

    Hmmm... Maybe the preservative was a different "sodium something" ... I ordered the sodium lactate to add hardness. So far I like making goats milk and the batches I like best tend to be a little soft. And when it comes to additives that seems to be the one a lot of people use.

    It does have translucency. I knew with the milk, sugar, honey and tallow cocoa butter..etc... that it was gonna get real hot and real thick real fast...I worked like a maniac to get it in the freezer in time. Wore me out! Anyway thanks!

    Making oatmeal honey goats milk...I have condensed frozen cubes. Gonna put bowl of cubes in ice bath and then pour my lye water slowly. But I put sugar to the water and dissolved it......is it okay to add lye to sugar water? Course the amount of water is only half....the other half is frozen milk

    Great thanks! I sure will be glad when i find my rhythm. I end up spending so much time researching that by the time I'm finally ready...it's bedtime!     How much oatmeal powder do I add? And should I hydrate it first with a little water? Should I deduct it from my distilled water? And is honey supposed to be subtracted? I know it's better to add little water to honey and warm it a little...So any water I use to add the extra stuff should come...

    I made goats milk soap at the end of January last month. I used condensed goat's milk and I froze cubes in the ice tray. But I didn't use it all. I'm about to make another batch of goats milk soap, I can just use the frozen cubes right? It's been frozen since then, it's still good right?

    Loaf mold cutter combo source

    Sorry what I meant is......a silicone loaf mold in wooden box and a separate wooden adjustable loaf cutter. Two different items...just looking for a good combo deal. Used is ok too.
