    Bummer....My first screwed up soap

This soap that I didn't like...the one that turned brown? A couple soaps were cut real thick and I wanted to cut them in half. Check it out. Why did it do this?

    Scent samples

I just got a bunch new fragrances in the mail. I'm using my co-workers as guinea pigs... I mean "soap testers" . and I want them to give me an opinion on the new scents, but I don't want to take all the bottles to work. I could probably put a little on a cotton ball and put in a little zip lock...

Protecting your laptop in your soap room

I'm new so I'm constantly doubting my recipe and needing to run it through calculator. I decided to keep it in the room but covered. I'd rather have it available.

Protecting your laptop in your soap room

I'm in the middle of "Operation Cleanup". I need to find a good place to put my laptop within easy reach but safe from oils and such. My work space is two long tables that sort of form an L. I'm gonna put my laptop at one end, the furthest from my soaping area. I don't want to keep it in the...

Has anyone bought from these people?

Has anyone ever purchased from discountsoapsupplies.com? The prices seem reasonable, but I think the shipping is not appropriate. I created a cart with 38 items and the shipping was like $11. And I created a different cart with only a mica sample less than a pound in weight and the shipping was...

    Milk powders and salts

I want to sample a different number of additives that I have not yet tried. I want to find a source where I can purchase a very small amount of a number of items. I want to get it all from one place. Like the himyla. Pink salt, coconut milk powder, soy milk powder, yogurt powder, goat milk...

what do you think of this drying rack idea?

Yeah I love it! I was using this homemade rack. Now I get to use this! I was spending half my time lately making racks. I guess it's supposed to be a paper sorter. Also it's on wheels.

what do you think of this drying rack idea?

Well, I went and got it. It was definitely worth it! The shelves are adjustable, the shelves are the kind that snap on. The frame is wire but the shelves themselves are plastic. S 25 shelves. For 20 bucks definitely a good deal. The only thing that I might have done differently had I had a...

    Peak - Raspberry truffle

Does anyone have any experience with peak fragrance oil raspberry truffle? I went to the fragrance oil review spreadsheet and there is an entry for this scent, but in the discoloration column it has a number instead of any other information that might be helpful. And I went to the peak...

    Bummer....My first screwed up soap

Maybe I'll use some abstract ideas to. "Paint" soap. I know not to make the mica too thick. I'd probably just use enough to give the tops some interesting effects.

    Bummer....My first screwed up soap

No not a glass dish. Glad peel and stick and a shoebox top. Here's the pics from after the cut. The colors are almost brown. I don't hate it...But I have some ideas...I've done some painting before I started soap. I'm wondering how would they look with some "painting". Make tiny amount of slow...
