Some of us love to soap but can't afford molds so we have to use cardboard boxes. I do cut the corners of mine as smoothly as I can. I guess poor people like us shouldn't be allowed to soap!!

I haven't soap for about a year. I went to walmart to by some coconut oil and they didn't have it. Have they stopped carrying it or is it my area? Do you know local areas i.e. Krogers that caring it? Thanks for your help jackie

I have tried to gel my GM soap and it has always turned dark on me so I don't gel mine. I don't put it in the fridge either. I use cardboard box for my mold and just put a cardboard lid on the box. I just made some GM with 75% lard and I have nice creamy bars. jackie

I bought one with a spigot when I was researching soaping. Then I realized you couldn't mix your oils and lye mixture in it. But then I realize I could melt my lard at a low level without worrying about it. jackie
