Making bath bombs like LU&H ?

Has anybody tried this bath bomb? I wonder if the popping candy actually creates mint explosions? Now, I'm all curious. I may have to make a candy run and experiment. I agree with what others have stated. My recipe is very similar to lush. I use some different oils and clay. But the...

    Flower Bomb

Used flower clay cutters scented with "Decay" from indigo moon. Used a scrap from my rainbow embed to make a "treat" for my sick little one. We spend most of the night in ER. She has an ear infection, sinus infection and pneumonia. For the first time being sick, she pulled a trifecta! She is...

    Calico

I would describe them more like dogs than cats. Very attached to their family. When we went away at Christmas, she stopped eating. When we got home, she literally hugged my neck and rode on my shoulders for the next day, like you will never leave me again. Many of them fetch like dogs...

    Second no CO batch

Thank you for explaining that to me. I have read some find coconutoil drying. Awesome you have found a recipe that works for you. I tend to be on the more oily side, so my skin is okay with the "harsher" oils. Let us know how it goes after your cure.

    Pain in my rainbow pootie

Yep. I saw that video. She does amazing work! I can not copy. Too rustic/ammatur. I have no idea how she got such clean rainbow lines. What a pro! And no, the extruders were A major fail for my embeds. I do better for now rolling it out like cookie dough. Cutting by hand or using clay...

    sick puppy

Poor squirrel is still sick. I thought she was getting better but vomited up what she could swallow for dinner. Her teacher emailed me to say she was awarded best kindergarten reader tomorrow. Was going to receive an award. Think she will be at hospital instead in morning. :(

    Pain in my rainbow pootie

So, did some rainbow embeds. A task I feared. Difficult, due to time and mixing. I really need a helper. Here is the best I created. Will try to use a larger rectangular mold tomorrow with a white background. Sorry this is for bombs.

    Snot salve?

Thank You For Your replies. I do remember tempering a bath for lip balms to prevent grainy texture. This was a great reminder, especially if I purchase more $$ oils.

    Bath bomb questions !

1/2 cup coconut oil? Wow! IMO, that it A LOT. I use less than half of that amount in my recipe and my dry ingredients are double your amount. You may also want to think about using a lighter carrier oil with the coconut oil. I use polysorbate 80 to help oils from "floating" on top of the water.
