First Markets in a Months Time

That's awesome Kelly! Take enough to neatly cover your table and more stored underneath or in your car, as donniej says. I like to have something taller set up at the back of the table and put my products in rows or small groupings, depending on the size, shape and number I have. I put an...

Big Tree Supplies - Product Reviews

I have just used "Honey (L'Occitane™ Type)" and so far I absolutely love it in CP. I made a buttermilk soap and left it ungelled and soaped the fo at 3%. It is quite strong and with the buttermilky background smell of the soap, it smells like oob but with creamy notes....soooo nice. If you...

    Natural colorants for CP

Oh dear, your poor thing! I've used spirulina powder at 1/2 tsp in 1000g oils and got a medium olive green (I also included avocado oil at 10% and 2T avocado puree). It is still the same colour now with no nasty smell in the shower (about 6 months old) - although I did add a fairly strong...

How would you make these Bath bombs???

Hers are truly gorgeous, aren't they Carebear! I wish I lived in the US so I could afford to order one of everything she makes. My favourite soap of hers is 'Love You Long Time'.....soooo pretty! I often like to browse through her website and etsy store for my creative colour fix :D Tanya :)

    ? about sodium lactate

I haven't done HP as yet but soapers I know swear by it to help with a smooth texture and a more CP-like finish to your soap. One recommendation I have read is to use it at 3% of oil weight. Others use a sugar solution as well as the SL for a super smooth pour. Hopefully someone with...

Layers joining together with CP GM soap

It is my understanding that CP sticks to CP just fine, even if layers are made several days apart. I haven't yet done this myself but I have read threads on here which cover this topic. Try the search function and type in 'layer' and choose the CP soap forum option. Good luck! Tanya :)

My mom has psoriasis bad-need a gentle soap

Just a thought - I have found that my goatsmilk soap helps my DH's psoriasis and a friend's partner has just commented that it helps him too and his psoriasis is quite bad, so GM may be a good additive for you to include too. Tanya :)

    no oo soap

I have done an 80% CO 20% Shea Butter and also an 80% CO 20% Cocoa Butter, both with 20% superfat and they are lovely. Rinses away very clean, but not drying - at least not to anyone who is not overly sensitive to CO. Adding in palm would only make it creamier and more moisturising imho. Why...

What % of Castor Oil do you use

I have used 10% in a shampoo bar and usually use 3% to 5% in CP. Even 3% adds fluffiness and body to the lather. Tanya :)
