Well, since the thread is revived, and I didn't do it, I'm going to ask a question. Genny the first poster, said she infuses Chamomile in all her soaps except ones with Shea... Why Chamomile, and why not with Shea? If anyone knows.

I made soap from 100% bacon fat once, and it didn't really trace, I poured it in the molds, and it slowly cured into the most amazing soap ever, took about a week before it was solid enough to remove from the molds.

I recently had a chocolate peanut butter stout at a micro brewery and it was the most amazing stout I've ever had. Just saying.

You could use something like Hart Soap, not many people use that word anymore, it does specifically mean a male deer, so if your tallow is from a doe it might be considered misleading. So something like Oak Hart Soap, or Hart Oak Soap, Acorn Hart Soap.

I'd say the TSA is watching fight club too often.

I've made soap with Nature's Garden's Jasmine FO, and it smells just like the flowers. This is of course my opinion. It's actually one of my most requested soaps. It does accelerate once you add the FO, but I usually have enough time to pour it.

I've recently read that Cedarwood and Citronella EO's can help keep insects out of their fur. I would not substitute it for a good defense like Frontline, etc. I've not heard or read anything about those 2 being bad for dogs. I have read that Tea Tree is bad for dogs. My oldest border...

It's March, spring is close, I'm looking for recommendations on a Spring Scent for a batch of soap. Any suggestions? I once had a Yankee candle called something like Kensington Rain? I think that was it, so something on that order.

For me its not so much the years but the mileage. So, is Tumeric Powder the same thing as ground Tumeric? I think its more of a what's your opinion question, but maybe someone knows.
