Keeping the scents in seasonal soap for next year.

I also store each fragrance of soap in a different box so that the scents don't intermingle. The only soap I ever wrapped with plastic wrap were mp soaps, never cp or hp soap. There weren't any problems with the MP soaps I wrapped with plastic wrap, but MP is a different animal. :)

    quick oil question

I have used red palm oil before. It soaped just like regular palm oil. I knew it would have a yellow/orange color in the finished soap so I used it with a citrus eo blend.

My Eucalyptus Spearmint soap (pics this time LOL)

Thanks Smeetree! I don't have a lot of the colorants so I usually go a little light handed with them to make them stretch/go farther. :D And the scent blend is one of my favorites. It can be a refreshing wake me up bar or soothing at the end of a long hard day.

    HP soap love. Show yours!

I started out with CP for my first couple of years. WAY Back then HP was not widely practiced. I think my first actuall HP was DBHP, and I thought it was a pain. Then I tried CPHP and loved it! Since then I go back and forth between the two, but do mostly hp. 1. because I'm too impatient to...

    Soapy dreams for 2015???

What I would love to do is win the lottery and have one BIG room dedicated to soap making. And then I would buy all kinds of molds, cutters, fo's and eo's and every colorant ever made LOL! It would be heaven on earth! But in reality.... I work a lot, don't even play the lottery, and...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Today I did a cp soap with a eucalyptus/spearmint EO blend. White base with green and blue swirls. I tried to do a spoon swirl in the mold, but I am not sure how it will turn out. I think I should've stuck with a hanger swirl. LOL! It's gelling right now, and I"m hoping I can cut it before I...
