Thanks everyone! Cerelife, Here in Florida, we have what is known as basic X ray license. or limited scope x ray....not all states have them. I can work in a doctors office, but not a hospital or imaging center, and can only do x-rays. But the last few years I have not even used my x ray...

Thanks Krista! I was going for a vintage type look, but yes I wanted clean easy to read labels. I am very pleased with how they turned out...I think they are the best looking labels I've ever made LOL!

Hi Dixie, thanks for the compliment! I used black and tan cardstocks. The black cardstock is cut like a cigar band and goes all the way around the soap, the tan is cut out and layered on top of the black cardstock. I used my xyron sticker maker to adhere the tan label to the black cigar band.

I am with Ruthie and Mish. I started making soap when my twins were babies. I could not find anything commercial that they could use without getting a rash. When they were babies, it was olive and lard with a little castor oil, shea butter or cocoa butter. Now that they are older (18 now)...

I have always added my honey after the cook, and I have never had honey pockets. I use a whisk to stir it in. I have never had honey give my soap a flakiness.

Lard is my favorite. All the conditioning of a luxury oil without the luxury price LOL!

I have never done the room temp thing. I like to control my temps...probably just another OCD thing LOL! I keep my temps between 110-120 F It works for me, and I have the philosophy if it isn't broke, don't fix it. :p
