white blotches in honey beeswax soap

It's just a 1lb mold made with cardboard and lined with wax paper. It was good for test batch (been using for a year) but the oil leaked much this time I had to throw it away. Soda ash huh...I'll try to rub it off and see. BTW, I blotted the "sweats" off the small cupcake soap and got white...

Some oil/ honey pooled on top I hope will reabsorb before I cut. Soap in cupcake mold is sweating honey too. Partial gel and oily, OK, I can bear with that but what are those rough white blotches on the sides and bottom of the loaf??

    EO with Sweet Scent

Hm...yeah, citrus. I intend to use the EO for soap, have problem making citrus scent to stick to cp and HP. I blend lemon, sweet orange with few drops of patchouli (which btw covers everything else). Saw some tips about using 10 folds but thought if there are other EO options other than citrus...

Just saw all the replies in page 2 (how could I missed the notification?) Interesting info on French/ Triple Milled! Thanks! I think this process is somewhat similar to French Milled as described by IrishLass and Lisa Anne, rolled and pressed, but in a simpler manner without the machines...
