I made a batch of soap Monday and I tried to do a swirl with tumeric infused sweet almond oil. The swirls are a pale yellow and kinda powderish.(is that a word?) And I tongue tested, the swirls zap but the rest of the soap does not. And I also have a phenolphthaline solution that I dropped on...

You should be able to get it at a health food store. The brand is Spectrum organic all vegetable shortnening. If you check the ingred. it's PO!

Has anyone used the Bertolli Brand Classico Olive Oil? It says it is composed of refined olive oils and virgin olive oils. Is that considered Pomace?

Yes, I do. I got a digital food scale from Target. I measured everything except the water by weight. But will measure that too by weight next time. Thanks so much for your help!!
