ive had really good luck with everything I’ve ordered from BeScented, and right now she has a bunch of FO 1oz samples for a buck apiece... just placed an order. She’s also got her Honeysuckle FO on special for $10 for 16oz bottle. I’ve not us d it before, but just ordered some of that, as well...

Got some time to play today. I have so much to learn about this, but think I might enjoy it as I try to get better at it.

This is my non-entry first try. I just wanted cleaner edges on my heart. I think I'll use this batch to practice felting.

Not making another attempt so these will have to do. Thank you Galaxy for hosting and teaching! These are scented with Pheromone from Nurture and are made with lard, olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil. White is titanium dioxide....colors are custom mixed micas from Nurture.

Yes. I just be sure to cut away as much of anything that isn't fat or connective tissue as possible. (i.e. meat, veins, discolored anything) That way it doesn't smell horrible while you're rendering. I do a lot of "blunt dissection"....pulling apart the fat from everything else with just my...

I take mine from around the kidneys and the heart. It's the cleanest and least smelly to render. I believe the fat from around the kidneys is called the leaf fat.
