No research, no thinking about it, I just saw the recipe and dared myself to make it, fully expecting it to not work.     August 2017 Entry Thread Gem and Stone soaps

    We live in the St. Croix river valley, so the river itself was my inspiration for this challenge. Both colors of the river rock soap are from the same batch....colored with BB Vintage Gray, but the soap I poured in the mold was layered with brick red mica and forced gelled, and the leftover soap...

    So rarely does a soap ever turn out the way I planned it in my head. This challenge is a "one and done" for me. My cheeks hurt from smiling while I was finishing up this challenge.
