    Cupcakes for my little CUPCAKE

I have to admire the clever packaging as the crinkled shred not only protects the cupcakes but looks so nice! :)

    Multi pouring into small mold

I'd suggest using a glass measuring cup like this: http://www.worldkitchen.com/s/brand-world-kitchen/pyrex-measuring-tools/6001074.html?gclid=CM_r5sv6o70CFcx9OgodfHAA9w

    Hello

You make gorgeous soap and the brights are as beautiful as the pastels. MP is faster than CP and you don't need lye. But I've only done MP so I'm biased. However, if you're drawn to make CP you should. Many people start with MP and branch out. Whatever you make -- HAPPY SOAPING! :)

    Soap noodles

Do you have an ingredients listing for these soap noodles? Are they fresh noodles [soft, maybe even a little wet] or are they dry and crumbly?

    Aluminum for melting MP?

Aluminum isn't highly recommended. My preferred method is a stainless steel double boiler.

Melt and Pour as Shampoo - Pleasant Surprise

Khanjari, Everyone's hair is different and their reaction to various shampoo bars is different so always keep that in mind. The type of water you use, hard or soft, can affect shampoo bars and how they work with your hair. By experimenting with melt & pour soap you'll find what works for...

    Am I missing something?...

As I stated above: The general rule of thumb in M&P soap crafting is that you can add up to 1 Tablespoon per pound [16 ounces] of additives. However, many people are happy to use a soap base as is or only adding color and fragrance.

SFIC Low Sweat Base - I don't like it!

I've read mixed reviews about low sweat M&P base but haven't tried it yet. However, I can highly recommend SFIC bases as they melt easily and are a great soap base to work with and they accept additives well. I've used the following: shea butter, clear, olive oil, white, aloe vera, and hemp seed...

    Do clays increase soap elasticity?

I've made clay soaps by adding it directly to the soap base and by mixing it in a bowl with some water or oil beforehand. Yes, the clay being on one side of the soap is normal because it's heavier. I think using the stick blender might have contributed to the unusual rubbery/elastic feel you...

    Am I missing something?...

'Melt and Pour Soapmaking' is a wonderful book but there are a few mistakes in measurements--usually tablespoons and teaspoons getting mixed up. I guess someone got them confused when they were editing the book. I recall the first time I noticed the mistake and thought, I hope a beginner doesn't...

    Social networking

I was also surprised about people liking MySpace until I saw this thread originated in 2010. I picked OTHER as I don't think Pinterest was even around in '10. However, I highly recommend it if you like pictures.

    SFIC bases

It's an excellent base. Propylene glycol isn't listed. Here's a listing of all the different bases ingredients according to SFIC. http://www.sficcorp.com/images/eb3c271f0c8d646f8e5c23f46a01a264.pdf
