WOW IanT! I was very surprised that you didn't used a single "lol" in that entire sentance! :D Red horse, that is so awesome that you have sheep too! What breed? I just love sheep. I bought mine from some friends that have a sheep dairy and make cheese. Pretty cool, but that was just not...

    Questions about first soap batch

The first two pictures are the hard bars of soap I made last Sat. Honor, I think the temp. was between 96-100. The next pictures are of a diferent recipe I did yesterday. The color is very un-even. It's a creamy yellow ion top and edges, and pinkish orange in the middle. The other thing...

    Questions about first soap batch

I made my first batch of milk soap last Saturday (CP), and I have a couple questions about it...it is really, really hard, it was rock hard after just a couple hours. I tried to shave off some edges, but it didn't really come off in curls, it chipped. Is that normal or not? The other thing is...

    Where should I buy lye?

Ya, the stuff I got at a hardware store was like $6. It is only 16oz. It seems like lye will be a lot cheaper to buy in bulk. The separate bagging is a good idea. I think I'll look for a pool suppy store! :) I don't even know if there is one around though...if you want to cool off, just...

    Where should I buy lye?

Where should I buy sodium hydroxide? I got a small bottle of it from a hardware store, but I really wanted to buy it in larger ammounts. A chemical store here had a 50lb bag of it, but I didn't think it would be good to have it in a bag....couldn't it like absorb moisture every time I open it...

What made you pick your avatar/ username?!

Hey! I'm Psalm 23. I chose that name because that chapter is all about sheep, and sheep are awesome! My avatar is a cow, :D because a cow was the closest thing it had to a sheep, and I haven't fingured out how to put pics. on yet :D
