    UK source of Na4-EDTA?

Thanks - I had spotted that site but on their home page they refuse to sell to individuals and direct to their "household products" sister page that doesn't include EDTA.

    UK source of Na4-EDTA?

I have been trying to find a non-business source of Tetrasodium EDTA in the UK without success. All I can find are the wholesalers who clearly state they are for commercial customers only. Any pointers for small quantities (c. 100g) of EDTA in the UK?

My first shaving soap is a success!

I have a question about the amounts of EO to use in a shaving soap like this. Assuming 1lb (454g) of oil (SA/CO/Tallow), what weight of EOs would you advise? I am referring to EOs such as DeeAnna's lavender/rosemary/mint blend or possibly Bog Myrtle rather than more pungent oils.

    Greetings from Scotland

Thanks for all the welcomes and suggestions. I will have to be patient until we move in June before shopping for equipment and containers for my first batch of soap but I can certainly "window shop" here until then (I might actually make it all the way through the shaving soap thread!).

In addition I...

Neither is listed as having artificial preservatives. Allowing for a bit of time in the supply chain I would say that these have...

    Photoshop labels

There is a £10.10/pm Photoshop CC plus Lightroom CC plan but it is a 12-month subscription (without any Cloud storage). To be honest if all you need is a relatively simple graphics tool, GIMP will do the job well and it is free. There are a fair few tutorials for it too.

My first shaving soap is a success!

I appreciate this was a question asked last week but I would like to add a personal experience of trying to use shaving soaps in an aluminium container. Those of us in the UK may remember a small company called Cosmetics To Go which was trading about fifteen years ago before Lush started. One...
