Using wire tools, is there concern?

For invert stamp season I just use a piece of covered electrical wire. We’ve got rolls of it leftover from projects but it’s pretty inexpensive at any store which sells any home repair items. Or, find an electrician and ask them to save you some cutoffs.

What soapy thing have you done today?

My fingers are crossed for you too. The only way I’ve been able to be real successful combining them is either as thin embeds or as really thin swirls.

What soapy thing have you done today?

I brought the new curing rack I ordered in from the mailbox. Other than that, life has been crazy running beekeeping school so for another couple of weeks, soaping is probably on hold.

Wow, 13 colors? No wonder you were pooped out! I can’t wait to see what creations come out of that effort

    Storing embeds

They just popped right out. I loosened the edges and then pulled apart and pressed on the back and “pop”! These were cheap molds from Wish.

Misschief, love that dancing funnel and I bet with more contrasting colors, it would be smashing!

What soapy thing have you done today?

Made a boatload of MP embeds and then cut my unicorn poop soap. Putting that one together was just one of those struggles. Measured half the lye solution instead of the double batch I intended. Figured that out and fixed it and then forgot to add the fragrance until I just started to pour. The...

    Storing embeds

So in an effort to step things up a notch from a visual perspective, I’ve been messing with CP and M&P embeds in my CP soaps. On a lazy Sunday evening like today rolling soap balls, pouring MP embeds, etc. is a way to be productive while watching YouTube. Now that I’m starting to accumulate...

    Best Place To Buy Labels

I think the answer will depend on several factors: 1. Are you looking for high quality labels that you print yourself? 2. Are you looking for labels to be printed based on your design? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then I feel onlinelabels.com is the best option. I’ve used...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Nice! I made one a few weeks ago with a Black Mocha Stout and it came out a mid to light brown with the creamy top. I thought with the sugars it would have come darker so closer the shade yours is. I ordered some brown mica this week to help coax the color out. THey have a stout made from NC...

What soapy thing have you done today?

That’s good to hear. We’ve got a bit of a boom happening in town with several breweries/meaderies planning on opening in the next year. I am hoping to develop a line of soaps using their products. One of the places has a ginger beer which might be fun to use as a starting point

    Snake Skin Soap

This is just the shed, right? I wouldn’t think it would be too hard to get it dissolved in lye. They almost fall apart with just hot water. That said, I won’t be in line to try it anymore than I would stand in line to try fingernail soap.
