With molds dimensions change depending on how you hold a bar. For example: My mold can hold up to 5 pounds and some change. I normally only use 3 pounds of oils, This fills the mold too much for my liking (When I cut them 1 inch wide) my 'batches' are based on per mold. 1 batch = 1 mold. So I...

Currently I use 3lbs of oils and full water via soap calc, and I get monster bars that dont fit in the hand. I accdently made good size bars once but dont know how many lbs of oil it was (It was master batched split wrong) I wanna say it was 2 lbs, My mold makes 11 bars at about a inch thick...

Tomarrow is soap day (If I have time, room mates birthday) but there will be pictures, and perhaps, even video if I can figure it out! Just deciding on what soap to christen it. But yes, this is the tank from 'for crafts sake' it took NINE WEEKS for it to get here, and had a stupid high price...

WSP is sustianable and PLANTATION farmed palm. Thus: Does not harm the monkies. The planations are inspected and such, its all a bit much for me to type out but for my vegan and earth minded friends at the two places I give my soap to, its very much acceptable to them. The info is found with...

Was thinking of brewing coffee and subbing the water for Coffee and maybe mixing in some of the grinds/powder into the soap itself, anyone done this? What was the result?

Things of note from my experiance: They take a little longer to dry/lose the oily feeling. Little longer to trace (For me) And gotta blend them real good. Other than that they lather good :D

Well, as I understand it, she wants some sort of scent. Because she mentioned the oils and the like, and I have yet tofind a 'amber oil' that is unscented. Sorry, I have out of state company so I must have missed (more than once) the question. So, lets go with the assumption that she wants...

There are several sites, that say "Essential oil" and then turn around and list 50 things IN the essential oil (INCLUDING OTHER EOS!) so I am starting to wonder if its possible TO get the EO at all. And the link Obsidian sent (Thank you) Does not say whats in it, they also have a 'service fee'...

Well they sell amber oil by the dram, and to get the amount I need im looking at about 35 bucks. But she pays (wholesale) damn near 3.50 a bar for it. I could get about 22 bars of the size she quoted so there is that. But the amber I have seen in her store is in a oil form, so...I simply don't...
