Not DeeAnna but I like lavender with orange, also clove bud in small amounts as it is an irritant. You can also use other citrus scents or mint.

For lotion I prefer bottles with disc tops or those with pumps. If it's more of a cream then a jar would be the better option. Although DD, it might just be that those customers like body butters more than a lotion that you sold less lotion.

Not exactly the cardboard flats but I've recently started using the tomato boxes from Costco to hold my soaps. If I stand my soaps on the long side, they are only 2.25" wide, just enough to comfortably fit in the box and let me stack them up. I might've been buying more tomatoes lately though:).

For a true lavender shade, I found the matte lavender oxide from BA to be very effective in smaller quantities. I will post a pic later.

I think I see a double layered rim on those soaps, saponista. The inner layer being the same color as the main soap. Very pretty soap.

Did you try NDA? I know they have several clays, powders, extracts and stuff but I don't think they sell any sample sizes, not the clays atleast.
