    Molds

I love silicone molds, however, unless I use Velcro or place in a box that supports it, I get bowing on the sides. My individual molds I use for salt bars and bath bombs etc...I wish my 1 lb mold had better support on the sides. It bows out all around and seems harder to get the soap out of for...

    Wall pour

Thanks Judiraz, I watched a few videos on YouTube. Can't wait to try this technique. I'd imagine you need a slow mover with just the right consistency for pouring as well as a behaving FO. That's quite the trifecta to go for

    Mica/glitter particles

Anytime you are working with a potential airborn product, it's best to wear a mask. It's a cumulative thing over time I think. Once again, we air on the side of caution with protective gear.

Tom Ford Black Orchid type FO by sweetcakes

Hi Soapers, Has anyone used this FO in CP soap? If so, how did it perform for you? Any A or D? There isn't anything listed regarding performance anywhere that I can find. Also, if anyone uses SC FO's, do they utilize their recommendations such as: use at least 6oz of water PPO, soaping below...

    Heat gun and sealer bar

Hi all. I'm preparing to purchase a heat gun and a sealer bar for shrink bags. Has anyone purchased ones they love /hate? If so, which ones and why? What should I look for in them. Also, sealer bars come in various sizes. I was thinking the 12" would be wisest, but I may be wrong. Input greatly...

SMF Soapmaking Challenge November: Drop and Skewer

I'd love to see others attempts. I've done lots of drop swirls, but never drop/skewer. My first attempt was disastrous. My second attempt better, but I"m not sure what exactly I'm supposed to be looking for. The few "failed" attempts that have been posted sure look awesome to me.
