    My rack :)

Re: x Thanks about the soap. Alas, not creekside - home made. I made four of these out of pine wood 2 x 4's and wood screws. Did not have money to buy molds. I'm not a carpenter - some of the wood screws caused the wood to crack, but did not affect the mold. I found Keith's tutorial...

That really does look great. What does it have in it if you don't mind my asking.

    My rack :)

Did that on purpose   I feel fairly comfortable making one color soap right now - especially with using just EOs vs FOs. I'm trying to get the hang of swirling and different designs - I'm amazed by some of the soap I've seen on here. Like the chamomile (I think the title was...

Ah, yes, I forgot about those. New images are beginning to appear. Maybe you can get clean and satisfied at the same time with those.

Love your soaps, esp the chamomile. Looks more like art than soap. If I bought it, I wouldn't want to use it, it's that pretty.

    7up Soap

The ash looks great on your soap. My hubby is a big fan of 7UP cake. Whenever we visit his aunt, she has one ready for him.

    critique my porn??

Love the layouts. I don't know anything about photography (take a look at some of my pics), but the bottom 3 do seem darker or muted. I like the top 3 better. And your soaps looks divine!

    Off the rack (pic heavy)

I made these a few months ago. So they are nice and cured. This is After Dark - Sweet Orange, Peppermint & Rosemary EOs. Raspberry pop with Yellow pop swirls. I was hoping raspberry would come out darker. Oh well. Next is Citrus Floral - Grapefruit, Lavender, & Rosemary...

    My rack :)

These are three that I have on the curing rack, and two more that are still in the mold. From the left, there's Secret Forest (Cedarwood & Eucalyptus EO, and alfalfa leaf powder), Sandman (Cedarwood & Lavender EO, Lavender Flower powder), and Happy Feet (Lavender, Peppermint & Tea Tree...

    my first original soap

Your soap looks great! And you are a Mom Extraordinaire with 4 children ranging from 7 mo to 4 years? Are the youngest twins? I guess they'd have to be to both be 7 mos.

    I want to try CPOP

Thanks for all the replies - I decided to spritz and wrap with saran. It's in the oven now till tomorrow a.m. Funny you mentioned honey - yesterday I made an oatmeal and honey loaf - did not put it in the oven - spritzed and covered with saran then covered with a light towel. It is a wood...

    I want to try CPOP

From what I've researched, you make your normal CP soap, pour it in your mold, and instead of insulating, put your mold in an oven set at 170 for an hour, then turn off the oven and let the soap sit overnight, or 10-12 hours. One thing I haven't been able to find, or perhaps didn't search...
