    Too cute

These are so cute I had to share. They are little ice cream shaped sponges. I think they'd be adorable with soapsicles in a gift set or basket. You can buy them here: http://zebrahall.stores.yahoo.net/z093-kbs001.html

    recycle soap

When I've saved up enough soap sliver I put them in a tupperware container and put enough water in the container to cover the slivers. Adding yogurt to soap. . .

I've heard someone say they added yogurt to their soap. Has anyone tried this before? What effect does it have on the soap? I'm always interested in trying new things I'd just like to hear from someone who's tried it who can give me a few pointers or see a recipe.

Are essential oils safe for pets?

I'm wondering because I have a dog who has WAAAY too much energy. It would be nice if I could try some calming or relaxing oils on her to calm her down before bed. Anyone know if they are safe to use on dogs? And if so, what's the best way to use them? Put oil on their paws? Add it to they're water?

What got you into soap making?

I was actually at a yard sale where a lady was getting rid of all her soap making supplies. I'd never really considered it before, but i decided it might be a fun hobbie to pick up.

Getting the yellow tint out of cold process soap

It's often the fragrance oils that will cause the yellow tints. You can try using different oils to see if that will help.
