Is there a better base then SFIC bases?

Lather Generally, the more MP soap lathers, the more detergent is in the soap. Detergents can be drying to the skin.

Is there a better base then SFIC bases?

Stephenson's I have recently tried some of the Stephenon's soap bases and was not happy with them at all - the clear was not clear. You had to get it really hot to get it melted and then it would gel before it cooled enough to pour. I now have a large quantity of it and am clueless as to how...

For Green Soap I have found that parsley powder makes a nice natural green for soap.

Is there a better base then SFIC bases?

Brambleberry Bases Equestrian - please let us know your results. I can't order from SFIC because I am a hobbyist, not a business, and could never justify buying the required amount of base required as a minimum order.

Is there a better base then SFIC bases?

Brambleberry Premium Bases They would be the ones found on this url: http://www.brambleberry.com/Bramble-Berry-Bases-C11.aspx (It starts with "Bramble Berry offers its own line of high quality melt and pour soap bases". This is as opposed to waht they call their "bulk" bases found on...

Best place to get 2,4,&8oz round plastic jars?

Plastic Jars I'm a little confused. While would you pour MP bases into plastic jars? The base will harden up and may be difficult to use.

    Basic list?

Brambleberry Brambleberry also has a "sample" pack where you can get all of the different bases they make (hemp, goatsmilk, etc) - it is priced well and you get some variety.

    Chocolate soap

Cocoa in Soap The first MP soap I ever made was Organic Peppermint and Cocoa Body Bars - they are still among my co-workers' favorites. For 2 pounds of MP (I used goats milk base), I added 4 oz. of wildcrafted cocoa butter, one tsp of good quality cocoa powder, and 1 oz. of peppermint oil. I...

Recommendations for MP base? Foam Booster?

I have found the Brambleberry's premium goats milk base gives a lot of lather. Have you tried that one? I have tried bases from several companies and different bases from BB, but I always come back to the premium goats milk for any project it will work in.

    Creating new 'Smells'

I have always found that lime works great in "kitchen" soaps so would be great for your chef friend. The lime tends to cut onion and garlic odors a bit.

    "Hand Molding"?

Hand-Formed Soap Thank you for replying. I am familiar with the 3D molds. So, you do not think there is any way to actually hand-form the soap at any point in the process. My daughter wanted to make a wheat germ soap that looks like rocks - and she wanted the "rougher" look for a hand formed...

    "Hand Molding"?

Is there anyway to hand mold Melt & Pour soap. My daughter wants to form it into balls. Can you wait until it cools down and do this - and, if so, what temp. Or is it even possible.

    Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley!

I made my first soap three weeks ago - a cocoa and peppermint body bar recipe I found on the internet. My co-workers loved it! I do not have a creative bone in my body but stayed up that night and gave my soap a name and logo and label and wrapped them - really cute. Right now I am only doing...
