    Rust Stains

Bread trays! You might check with local bread delivery places and see what they do with worn out trays. ;)

    Amazon changes prices ???

You might check Allbrands.com too. I bought my Janome 1600p there and my gracie quilting frame. Their prices were good, and I think they threw in some freebies too. As far as patterns go, there is another website I love that is all about discussing patterns; their fit, how to tweak them...

    Post your happy

Thank you :) I was sad about the onions and garlic. Although garlic infused oil is low fodmap, so dh did a bottle of that and has been adding it to dishes. I just started the process, but I suspect dairy and beans; and possibly red meat, will be the cause of my biggest issues. Canned beans vs...

    Post your happy

I had a diverticulitis attack in the end of September, and since then have been struggling with daily stomach pain. I had a colonoscopy on New Years Eve (what a way to celebrate, right?) that came back with diverticulosis noted as well as 3 benign polyps which my dr removed. I now have a...

    Embroidery Machine forum ?

I belong to this sewing forum which has a section for machine embroidery. https://www.quiltingboard.com/forum.php My dh bought me a Janome 300e (stand alone embroidery machine) 12 years ago when we moved from CA to KY. I am still using it; although much less frequently, as all my kiddos are...

    Almond Milk

That is gorgeous. I love the top-the color is so pretty. I've never tried soaping with Almond Milk, but I do put it on my cereal every morning. I bet the Cherry Almond smells amazing. :) Janelle

1st batch of Emulsified Sugar Scrub a success!

They look absolutely lovely. That is a beautiful green and I bet the ginger lime smells divine :) Great tip about using mango butter. I made some lotion and lotion bars last year using cocoa butter but didn't like the greasy feeling. I'll have to check out mango butter and see if I can find a...

My white tea & ginger scented soap w/goat's milk

Thank you. Great advice. I generally soap in small l lb batches, because I'm only soaping for me and my family. The fragrances I love, I've begun soaping in 3 lb batches. Thank you. I'm excited. I hope they are creamy :)

My white tea & ginger scented soap w/goat's milk

Mine is from Brambleberry. I like it so far :) both in the bottle and in the soap . My favorite scent, in the past two years of soap making, is still lemon verbena. I just haven't found anything I like as much. But I do love trying out lots of new fragrances :) My husband's favorite is camp...

My white tea & ginger scented soap w/goat's milk

This is my 2nd go at making soap with goat's milk. My first bars were for dh and I used a simple rectangular silicone mold and scented them with spearmint and eucalyptus. I made them last week. These are for my dd & me and are scented with white tea & ginger from BB and I used a pretty silicone...

What soapy thing have you done today?

It is plastic coated but I think I will put parchment paper down too.

What soapy thing have you done today?

Oh, thank you. I didn't know that. I thought that the plastic was enough protection. I was formerly using metal baking racks and I did get some orange dots on my soap. Would parchment paper work?

What soapy thing have you done today?

I faced a conundrum; I wanted to make goat's milk soap for me and my daughter, but I had no room left on the three little baking racks stacked in my closet. So.... I decided to completely re-arrange my sewing room closet. I took the fabric and moved it out into the sewing room proper to take...
