    Falling snow

It looks like it could be lightly splattered white mica done to each bar after cutting.

A few of this years soaps...

They’re all gorgeous, but I especially love your use of colors in Lychee & Guava and English Pear & Freesia!

    HOTH - added extras

Hoth is an icy planet in Star Wars. 😅

When you make yourself conform to No-Buy July but are still filling your cart to place the order Aug 1.

    HOTH - added extras

These are lovely! I will say that they were not what I was expecting to see. I saw “HOTH” and immediately thought of Star Wars. 😆

    I made a mistake (again)

    They turned out beautiful!

    Preservative Free Soap

I think that’s going be my new thing. I’m just going to start labeling my soaps as gluten-free. Do you think it’ll work? 😆

    Preservative Free Soap

I wonder if they took the time to label them as “gluten free” as well.

    Preservative Free Soap

I was at Busch Gardens a week ago, and I went into one of the gift shops to escape the heat. When I was in there, I noticed a table with handmade soaps. I’m always interested in other’s work. It’s fun seeing what other people make. What caught me off guard was that they took part of their label...

    Never made soap...yet

The book Simple and Natural Soapmaking by Jan Berry has quite a few recipes in it that might be helpful. Anne Marie from BrambleBerry also has a book with different recipes you can try.

Looking for a unique Pumpkin FO

I do have that one, and it is really nice. I just put it in a candle. All Hallows Eve is great, too.

    Glass Or Plastic

The only containers I use are polypropylene. I haven’t had any issues with them warping or eating at the container. I found them at the Webstaurant online store. They were inexpensive and haven’t worn in the slightest.

I ran out of Sodium Lactate...

I, too, stopped using it with my shea and palm soap. I do have to keep using that or salt for my high olive, though.

Please advise on eo in CP soap

I will say that I’ve had luck with both lemongrass and lavender at just 3%. I did an orange 5x salt soap only once that stuck at 3%, too.

Trying to decrease cost of Vegan/Palm-free, soap.

When I was first starting out and experimenting with different recipes, I purchased Pure Soapmaking by Anne-Marie Failoa and Simple & Natural Soapmaking by Jan Berry. The one by Jan Berry is full of palm free recipes, and I didn’t find them too expensive to make. It was a fun way to try recipes...

I feel really stupid right now

I’m not sure where you found the person you mentioned, but have you thought about Fiverr? They have ratings for people, and it might help you find someone trustworthy to get you going. I’m sorry you had this experience.

Can I use this for my lye mixture?

I actually use containers from Webstaurant. You can find really good quality HDPE tubs with handles at various sizes at great prices.
