    Soap cutter reviews?

To be honest. I have been looking at the Hercules. To replace my home made single bar. It has so many other uses also. The Hercules isn't much more than a single bar bud's cutter. It would save you from buying. A log splitter down the road.

    Soap cutter reviews?

Mmm, both are well built. Materials, wood vs metal. How often will you be using it? I used a homemade, single bar quite often. Until purchasing a multi bar cutter.

How do you store your CP during the curing process

Hi, waiting longer to unmold. Helps with cavity molds. No cutting, what's the rush. Cut bars, something open, with air flow is best. Non metallic or something between placed between bars and shelf. Some use a fan. To increase air flow. Keeping a thin covering of some type helps also.

    Beeswax in Soap

As for the honey. It will cause your batter to heat up. (added sugars will do this). So, use it sparingly. I only use it in my OMH recipe. And only 1-1.5 ounces for 55 ounces of oils. AND! I watch my loaf after the pour like a hawk. In case of overheating.

    Pouring at emulsion

If you pour at too thin a trace. Your colors will blend together. "Muddy" verses keeping separate from each other. I separate for color work. As soon as I reach emulsion. But bring batter to the trace of my liking to pour.

What soapy thing have you done today?

Swapped out AVO for HO sunflower oil. In my goto recipes. Really like the AVO. But it is a good reduction in cost. Shaved 10% off my OO totals as well. So, 20% HO Sunflower oil. In my recipezees now. Hate losing the AVO. I can feel a difference.

Hmm, never had a soap fail because it's too cold before.

Hi, I am a firm believer. That ambient temp will affect the batch. My work area. Is in an unheated basement. And have had more than a couple of false traces. @bookworm, fresh cut roses, is a nice scent. Seems to hold well. This is a regular on my shelf.
