    HARD SOAP BAR

    hard soap there's a great soap calculater that tells you the hardness and other considerations for each oil you want to use. it's a little frustrating at first, but i got the hang of it after a few dozen tries. www.soapcalc.com if i can make it work, anyone can! good luck monet

    Soap Molds...Where To Buy?

    soap molds are those sunnybrook soap molds? i think they are out of business. if you have a cabinet/finish carpenter in your town, he can make you some out of plexiglass. had to replace some of mine, too, but i've had them a long time. have him make extras, too, for backup. monet

    leather fragrance oil...found it!

    can't find the thread for soaper looking for leather fragrance. www.sweetcakes.com has it. all their f/o's i've ordered have been excellent! useage .75-1 oz ppo. hope this finds you. (i've ordered some myself!) i'm going to blend it with a little lilac or ylang ylang monet...

    i found the most wonderful food-grade silicone spray that really works for c/p. i have a bunch of "fancy" individual soap molds that i have tried in the past to release by freezing, mineral oil, vasoline, pam spray with no avail. i usually had to use a fork to dig them out. anyway this stuff...

    steric acid if you use rtcp and add steric acid you should melt it in your oils beforehand, blend and let cool. it takes very high temp to melt. i've never used it in rtcp, but in regular c/p i never use as a rule more than 1 tbps per pound of oil. i only use that when my "soft oils' like...

    salt bar questions...please!

    salt bars when you use your tog bar mold howw long before you can take them out? do they still cure 4-6 weeks, or do they need more time? i think you need to host a summer seminar so we can all come see you make soap! after that, maybe you'd get a break from all our endless questions...
