I don't sell my soap, but do buy it to support other soap makers at craft fairs, and with round soaps many do what Irish lass described; wrap with that paper she described and hold it in the middle with a label. It looks quite pretty usually!

I weighed out my oils and stored them in the fridge so that as soon as I have a free few hours next week I make some new batches easily!

Stacyspy I have the same expeierence, my basic recipe is just like yours, just with almond oil to. This and a very old olive oil only batch (I think it was more than two years when I found it and gave some away) Have gotten more rave reviews than anything else I've ever done.

Thank goodness this is what this thread is about, was worried some ppl are still recommanding vinegar to clean the body of lye... Like DeeAnna said just cool running water for that!

You can try mixing it with a hydrosol of choice and emulsifier, and see how you like it as a lotion. Or like others mentioned melt a bit of a hard butter maybe also some beeswax, add it to it, and then try it as a lotion bar or lip balm, should be good.
