Not only the postage cost but you would have to pay VAT and a handling fee once it arrives in the UK! Adds up to be very pricey indeed!

Anything powder you should just be able to put into a little oil and mix! Very roughly speaking around a teaspoon of powder into 10ml of oil works for me - then add to your soap at trace. Obviously you need to judge how much to use depending on how much soap you're making and how strong you want...

Nice link spiderpup! I've used annatto before - I dispersed the powder in a little oil then added it at trace. If you don't disperse but add the powder at trace you will still get the colour but it may be speckly and a bit scratchy in the soap. I'm not sure what you mean by using lemon for...

A badly behaved fragrance oil caused separation and a scarily lye heavy soap (picture 1). So i rebatched it and now it looks like minced beef! (picture 2). Despite looking horrible it smells quite nice so may still get use out of it.

Your essential oil supplier should be able to provide you with an allergen declaration for each essential oil. You should then include the particular allergen in your ingredient listing. E.g. bergamot eo contains citral, linalool and limonene - so these should be listed at the end of your...

I just made some cp soap with chamomile and bergamot scent, blue and yellow colours in the pot swirl. I used ultramarine for the blue but it looked quite dull on pouring so I'm hoping it will brighten a bit after a good gel phase!
