    What advice would you give to your beginning soaping self?

    So much wisdom here. Thank you. To my beginning soaping self: don't buy stuff just because it's cheap and on sale hoping you'll need it 'some day'. Then 12 months later you're still stuck with so many tiny jars and bottles you may never use. Ditto with oils and botanicals. [emoji848]

    The celebration colors are nice. Very attractive. But I prefer the subtle colors produced by the indigo powder in lye water. Well done!!

    Hello Everyone, Please I will like to use palm kernel oil in a liquid soap recipe, Castor Oil 35% Palm kernel oil 45% Olive Oil 20% My question is: will I get a clear sweet liquid soap? Am substituting coconut oil with palm kernel oil to keep cost low. Coconut oil is really expensive here...

    Can we use the dual lye method so it cures faster? Dual lye will also increase bubbles. As a body. Will dual lye be ok for a shampoo bar too? Thanks

    Dual Lye disasters

    DeeAnna yes, I think the FO maybe the issue here. When I added the FO, batter separated somehow. I think I will do a repeat but use a different FO. Will post an update after my next trial. Thank you
