    Thank you... I was considering using shea butter.. I had to take a break since I was pregnant but now I'm back and ready to start making some soaps so Im still going to do Olive, castor, shea, babassu and coconut like I said I'm new to this so can you give me a starting recipe.

    Thank you and I finally figured it out I want to do a non animal fat soap and I being a newbie replaced the wrong oils thinking it was an equal replacement for another oil but now I got it down and finally got a recipe I can try out!!!

    What's the ideal percentage for longevity for soap I'm playing around on SoapMakingFriend.com and I can't get anything above a 15% I noticed that the Babassu oil upped the percentage opposed to castor oil pulling down the percentage any advice is welcomed...

    3.99oz water 2.22oz lye .33lb castor oil .34lb olive oil .33lb coconut oil did I do this right?? trying to do a tester batch

    So I do own the oils would you just suggest using a two oil soap instead like coconut and olive I also have castor and I can make it a 3 oil soap I really appreciate all the feedback it helped me scale back a lot and not overthink it.

    I'm using Babassu oil, Castor, Jojoba and Olive... I'm trying to make a 5lb batch how many oz of each oil should I use (take it easy on me I'm new to this lol)

    shipping cost

    I saw thinking around $6.50 for them because 8 in this area will be a bit much. And the great thing about my area is that there isn't a lot of competition. And since I'm actually using some amazing recipes I think I'll do well... I'm not in this for money alone I really want to make a difference...

    ok thank you that's exactly what I've been doing so I'm on the right track.. follow up question is this reasonable my soaps are $5.00 and shipping is $4.50 and I've seen shipping cost for priority shipping flat rate envelope for 7.75 to Jersey and AZ
