You gave me a good giggle alchemy_cake, because I have been there myself with the ole mica, and that exact mica. It's super messy. The tea strainer thingie does work well and sprinkles the mica pretty evenly. It's the getting the mica INTO the strainer that's a pain in the neck. :lol:

I have never used more than 3 colors except for a VERY failed batch that I am trying to repress. Today I was a nut and used 8! I tipped the mold and poured down one side, used a hanger swirl tool (this part freaked me OUT) topped w white, then added stripes, an did a sort of mantra on top...

Those are super cool. They remind of McCoy pottery from the twenties and thirties.

ooooooooo I am so jealous! I love jasmine! I can almost smell it. I know this sounds weird but Nurture's death and decay smells like jasmine to me so I just smelled a soap I made recently to live vicariously through you. :twisted:

Awww. :cry::cry: I'm so sorry to hear your sweet friend passed. I totally understand the not knowing what to do. We had to put my 18 month old dog down four years ago and my whole family (husband and two young sons) just sat around and cried for hours. Hugs and heartfelt wishes for peace.
