Thank you so much for giving me a time to respond. I did put my soaps in oven so the gelled circle disappeared. Considering water amount that is because I wanted to make a swirled soap so I wanted to have a plenty of time to color and design.

I used the same recipe in two soaps and I put them in freezer immediately for 8 hours then I cut them 48 hours later I discovered that they have been partially gelled. What is the reason do you think? My recipe is 5% shea butter 5% sweet almond oil 40% olive oil 5% castor oil 30% coconut oil...

I actually used a green mica color.

The green soap is made with avocado and scented with essential oils blend, the pink and white one is my regular soap recipe and scented with another essential oils blend, the last is a pumpkin and honey soap it was unscented and I add a little poppy seeds.

From my opinion you should put the bar immediately in freezer as you used milk and honey. You increased light burning of the milk by putting in oven. I advise you in the future when you notice an increasing in temperature after adding lye to oils put the soap in the freezer for two hours

I made a batch last hour with three EOs. I hardened quickly but was ok. I want to make frosting for the soap should I use the same EOs used or it is better not to add any in order to control the creaminess of the frosting. Do you fragrance your frosting usually or not?
