is this the same as lipid thix from lotion crafter ?

I bought some activated charcoal that was pellet size I grind it up in a coffee grinder however it was some what still granule.. what I did was placed some of it in the cool lye water and used less so that the charcoal would act as a scrubber in the soap

no difference Olive and Rice bran fall into same sap category. you should try it.

i have yet to experience this. however with micas i keep a little lye water and pour them in little medicine cups.. and add my mica.. this way i can see if the color Morph to something else before i added to my soaps

I understand .. I am the same way.( i love soap) cant help my self. I normally try my soap after it hardens. my recipe allows for a solid bar in 12 h0urs that become rock hard as the week proceed. so i try the 12 hour mark then a day later. then i wait the full 6 weeks ;)

yeah the ground coffee will messy.. you can add caffeine concentrate. i would omit that. you can however make a bath tea and add the coffee in the tea bag and they can drop it in the tub. this will contain the coffee. if you must keep it in your formulation
