I think this may be also just a question of perspective. Most people who want to use palm, but not use palm, tend to be looking for veggie alternatives. The responder may also be vegetarian or only use veggie ingredients themselves so they may not even think about lard or tallow as an option...
I have a 1oz of cucumber lavender, it's yours if you'd like to try to duplicate it. It smells great oob, very fresh. I haven't soaped it yet though, anyone else try it?
I do not typically gel but I have used key lime eo quite a number of times and always need to anchor it with something that sticks.
If I remember correctly one of mine made with it gelled on its own and I remember it faded a lot faster.
Really disappointed, I just got my first FO order from them and was excited to try them out but I don't typically buy lb at a time, especially when I am not 100% sure I already love it.
I've been so happy with Nurture colors I will likely just stick with them now.
I am going to try to do Carolyn a favor and make a more convenient list of people who want at least one pound. Copy and paste the list with your name and how many pounds you would like.
1. Susie-1 lb
2. Julie (jules92207) - 1 lb
I dry celery leaves all the time and make celery salt with it. I use it all the time to savor soup, eggs, anything. When I make my salty sailor salt bar I use the celery salt in the soap so it has pretty green flakes.
I'm due to post my Vanilla test results, I'm so sorry I've been so behind.
My top favorites are Vanilla Bean from Natures Garden and Vanilla Bean Noel from WSP.
I promise I'll post my full Vanilla results before this year is up.
I haven't been soaping as much as I would like, but I did manage to make some baby shower soaps for my friend last weekend so I started unmolding them. They are doing a Winnie the Pooh theme so we did honeycomb and honey pots in yellow and grey.
