Caught my salt bar just at the right time to cut. Very happy haven't made these is so long Love 💜

I've felted both at 3 weeks and 3 months both are fine but I like good amount of Tallow in my HP for felting. Once I stuffed up the colour in a fairly high CO so felted that at 3 weeks and lost heaps of soap but didnt shrink back later at all.. Not noticed any pouching or loose feeling either way.

1st attempt yesturday. My batter was to thin to start and blended to much in places. So Im going to try it ahain and allow it to thicken a tiny bit so it sits on top of each colour pouring into jug. Also in my panic I forgot to strain out my indgo so have specks..

The beer has quite a bit of sugar as well so that will add to the heat a bit too. Yes cooler will help. I also love a good beer soap must make some more.

For a quicker infusion I put the powder in oil. Put the jar in my microwave on power level 2 for 2 min to heat. Then power level 1 for 10 min let it rest 5 shake and repeated 10 min/rest 5-6 times. Im too impatient to wait😊

Any thing should work if its thick enough to hold its shape. As mentioned you need to line it. I'd go for plain wood not painted as lye might affect the paint. Tip: Think about the length of loaf you want and add a little at each end for end cuts.
