Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

We've had a few people mention similar size loafs to us. The taller/thinner theme seems to be popular, so it's definitely something we're going to try and make. Just a matter of coming up with a dimension that everyone likes.

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Obsidian, I don't believe the silicone version is quite as deep as the plastic one. They are about 1-1/4" deep, and I believe they hold about 5 to 5.5 oz.

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Isg, what kind of length are we talking? And would the width be the same as a traditional loaf mold, or wider?

    Bottles!

You can try Rippedsheets. We used to use them when we were doing prototype/spec work for other companies. Their labels are high quality. We were paying I think about $2.00 a label and were having 10-20 labels made at a time. I think they've gone to charging a setup fee now. But still, probably...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Obsidian, I'm familiar with that mold. Before we started making our own molds, we actually purchased some silicone versions of yours that we used to create our sponge soap. I wasn't able to find them at the place where we bought ours, but I was able to track one down for you on Amazon. Hope...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Obsidian, Are you pouring these and then putting them together to form one bar? Wow Kittish, You've got some great ideas there. We are definitely going to explore different loaf mold shapes. I believe most of the shapes/items you mentioned are doable. Undercut items that are on the...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

dibbles, I want to explore this idea with you more. And as far as M&P vs CP/HP. Our goal and hope is that our molds will work for all. We're still working with our silicone provider on several things, but CP is of uppermost importance to us. We know silicone linings exist and seem to work, so...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

earlene, thank you kindly for the very helpful and insightful reply. One thing I want to mention because I think we've probably confused people a little. The "mini-loaf" shape itself was just an example to demonstrate the versatility of our mold system, not necessarily the focus of my original...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Heya dibbles! Thanks for the feedback. We're going to try and pour a batch of CP this weekend. The test batch size tall & skinny mold is doable for sure. And with our system you could pour singles, or multiples. And when you say equilateral triangle, are you talking like a flat triangle, or...

    trying to stay focus

Heya, It does sound like you're under a lot of pressure. Kittish and Isg's suggestions are great. And another place that might be an option for you is a local coffeehouse. They generally are okay with people hanging out as long as they have purchased a cup of coffee. And usually they have...

Natures Garden Candles Mango and Papaya

We've tried quite a few suppliers for FO/EO. For fragrance oils we've had great experiences with both Candlescience & SaveonScents.

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Thanks for the comments... I'll try and answer some of the questions. Testers: Yes, we want people to test them, unfortunately we can't get one to everyone who has asked though. We're trying to figure out a fair way to let someone from this community do some testing. If it's allowed on...

Mighty Molds - Modular Loaf Silicone Soap Mold

Our newest prototype is a triple cavity “Mini-Bread” loaf mold that allows you to pour one, two, or three loaves at a time! The loaf mold we have created is a true three-dimensional shape, with curved edges and corners. When unmolded, these loaves will look like real, traditional loaves of...

Mighty Molds - Modular Silicone Molds

Hey all, For the past several months we have been designing a modular mold system. This system will allow crafters to incrementally increase the number of items they are pouring within the same mold, simply by adding what we call a 'Mighty Multiplier'. Our system will also make it very...

    Please i need help!!

If you have a heat shrink gun you can save yourself having to re-pour by using it to remelt the wax and letting it fill in your sink/relief holes. Also works great for uneven tops and/or tunneling around the wick.

    Tiny bottles

Might be good for hand lotion. I also know people who work in offices that sneak in their favorite hot sauces in little bottles like that.
