    How to prvent stearic acid spots in soap ? Alternative to?

    I have been using the no stir palm from WSP and I don't have issues with stearic spots. I usually soap between 80-100 degrees. I love not having to melt and stir.

    I am a fan of embrace the brown! I do use micas but sometimes just embracing the brown is cool too. I attached 3 photos of the same batch when I left part if the batter I FO free.

    I actually did wrap it in plastic to try to smoosh it. I did three that way and the one I left for about 40 minutes did stick. One out of three is better than I hoped.

    Question about buttermilk soap

    I use powdered buttermilk added to the oils and you don't need to add extra sugar. The soap will probably heat up so watch for cracking. I usually use sodium lactate too.

    I use shea, mango and cocoa butters all in solid form. I do 5% on each. My girlfriends love it as a facial bar.
