I haven’t used it for a whole soap batch, and I have always mixed with OO then mixed it in with the batter. I did use it with a discoloring FO and it still held as a dark blue. Do you gel? I think you used enough, the only thing I can think of is not gelling or the FO.

They have sample collections that go a long way and from several color group samples I picked the colors I really loved and ordered in large sizes. Nurture soap and TBK Trading have samples too. I recommend samples first.

I put mine on the brown paper that comes with supply orders and I cover the soap with a single layer of cheese cloth. I cure mine on shelves in the basement and have a dehumidifier set to 40% running all the time.

Well I did it. I stuck to my goal and did 12 out of 12 months in this dumpster fire of a year. What a fitting way to end it than going up in flames. So I have done a ring of fire.
